Imagine your classroom being transformed into an immersive English language and culture environment for a day.
That is exactly what happens during an ABCi Outreach English Project. One of our teams with native speakers from various English-speaking countries visit your school to make English come to life for each and every student.
The aim is to let young people experience language not just as a subject, but as an adventure. They get to know another culture. They also get to know themselves in a way they may never have before: as an English speaker. We want to motivate and inspire students, and give them the self-confidence to know how fun and how easy it can be to speak English.
It really is for everyone: we have a suitable programme for all school children of any age and level.
Depending on region and availability, we will assign one of our teams to visit your school for a day. A Free Outreach Project starts at your first period and ends after the sixth period (after the fifth period for primary schools). Each class gets to spend between two and three lessons with their own native speaker. Students usually remain in their regular classrooms for the project.
Example for a school with 12 classes:
Periods 1 – 2: 1a, 1b, 1c, 2a
Periods 3 – 4: 2b, 2c, 3a, 3b
Periods 5 – 6: 3c, 4a, 4b, 4c
Example for a primary school with 8 classes:
Periods 1 – 2: 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b
Periods 3 – 5: 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b
